UAE Leads Region in Digital Infrastructure

The UAE leads the Middle East region in the capabilities of its high speed infrastructure, according to a study by the Boston Consulting Group (BCG). The study which creates an index of 50 countries and ranks a number of factors including enablement, expenditure and engagement, is a measure of a nation’s internet depth and reach. The UAE ranks 26th overall on the index. South Korea places first on the index overall. The United States is tenth.
