Dubai Cruise Terminal Set to Grow in 2012

Expansion planned for Dubai's Cruise Terminal in 2012

Dubai is continuing its expansion of its financial and economic portfolio by investing heavily in the tourism and hospitality sector. Global Marine firm DP World has announced plans to significantly expand its port facilities at the Dubai Cruise Terminal to handle as many as five cruise ships as a time at the end of 2012. The port can now handle two ships at a time. Between 2009 and 2010, the port saw a 30% rise in tourist traffic.
