Brazil Exports to Arab World at Record Levels

Exports from Brazil to the Arab world generated a record US$ 1.824 billion in August, growth of 51% over the same month last year, according to Brazil’s Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade. Exports to the Emirates, Algeria and Morocco grew by 25% to  US$ 495.5 million. The exports show great demand in the industrial and building sectors. Areas that recorded growth in sales were sugar, ores, chicken, maize, machinery and equipment, inorganic chemical products, coffee and live cattle.
